Mountain Bike Skills Training
Our SMBLA qualified leaders and tutors offer training at all levels of Mountain Biking. Whether you are just treading into off road cycling for the first time, or you are a competent Mountain Biking wanting improve your techniques; Cycle 4 Adventure has a course to suit you. Courses available:-

Level one – introduction to off road cycling skills. Click here

Level three Wild Country – for those wanting the real adventure, in our hills and mountains. Click here

We also run Women Only courses at all levels of Skill Training; contact us for more information on Women Only courses.

Our skills courses take place on trails suitable for the level of training, in many locations within the UK. The courses are 100% practically based, on the trails. Please contact us for course dates and locations, alternatively we can run courses on request for groups of 3 to 6; click here for group booking information.

Mountain Bike Navigation Courses
For those wanting to explore the countryside more, but wish to improve your navigation skills first; we offer 1 and 2 day courses. All riders must be able to ride confidently on rough single track trails.

Introductory Mountain Bike Navigation course - If you have never, or rarely, looked at a map and compass; then this 2 day course is for you. There is a good mix of classroom work and trail riding practice on the course Click here

Mountain Bike Navigation development course - If you have used a map and compass before, but wish to hone your skills or wish to transfer your skills to Mountain Biking, then the 1 day course is for you. The first session is classroom based, but then we are out on the trails. Click here

Those wishing to navigate in Mountain Terrain, the Level three Wild Country courses have a navigation element for that level. Click here
